Planning Meeting and Photo Session I use the camera to record expressions, poses, and lighting. Some quick sketching and color notes may be taken to determine the best pose and background. The photo session usually takes a minimum of one hour and is conducted in the client's home, office, or other location. After one hour developing the reference photos, the client and I review the materials to determine the best expression to be painted. Photo review concluded, it is now time to select a frame from my catalog, which will be recommended to suit the style of the painting and the client's particular taste. Painting Procedure Back in my Atlanta studio, I will stretch a canvas consisting of the finest heavy-duty wood materials and imported Belgian heavy-duty portrait linen. The portrait is painted to completion using the finest oil paints and brushes. Many hours will be devoted to the fine details that will insure a great likeness and a successful portrait. When the portrait is completed, the client is contacted and the portrait is delivered. |

Museum Quality Gold Leaf Picture Framing and Decorative Picture Lights The right style of frame and light will enhance an already beautifully painted work of art. I will make some recommendations as to the proper molding width, period style, and gold leaf finish that will best suit the painting. My frames and lamps are available at reasonable prices. |
